Edible Flowers Guide

We’ve just launched our edible flower range, it’s called the ‘Flower Garden Set’ and it’s the perfect collection of colourful flowers that invite pollinators and will work well as a pest deterrents for your vegetables.


The range includes:

Calendula (Playtime Mix) / Hardy Annual

slightly peppery taste

  • Full Sun 

  • Perfect for Pollinators 

When to sow: March to June

Flowers: May to September          

Cornflower Crown Double Strain (Blue) / Hardy Annual

sweet-to-spicy clove-like flavour

  • Partial Shade 

  • Perfect for Pollinators  

  • Bushy, Medium

When to Sow: Late March to May

Flowers: May to September

Marigold French (Disco Series Mix) / Half Hardy Annual

a citrus taste

  • Full Sun 

  • Perfect for Pollinators 

  • Suitable for Containers 

  • Bushy, Dwarf, Ground Cover

When to sow: Indoors - February to April / Outdoors: April to May

Flowers: June to October

Marigolds may be harmful in large quantities. They should only be eaten occasionally and in moderation.

Nasturtium (Ice Cream Sundae) / Hardy Annual

  • Full Sun 

  • Perfect for Pollinators 

  • Suitable for Containers 

When to sow: April to May

Flowers: June to September
