Flowers: June to October

Marigolds may be harmful in large quantities. They should only be eaten occasionally and in moderation.

Basil produces white edible flowers, which have a strong basil taste - and can be used to replace basil leaves when you’re running low.

Courgettes / Pumpkin produce these large yellow flowers which are delicious stuffed and then deep fried or sauteed. They can also be sliced and added to salads and egg dishes.
