Brain health has been the driving force behind The Grow Guide. We’re all about pausing regularly for mental health check-ins.
We’ve seen the studies, being in green spaces really does help our minds out. Living right in the middle of a busy city, we know that access to green spaces doesn’t always come easy. We’d like to bring a little green to your space.
Eco-Friendly and Sustainable.
Just like you, we care about the planet. Our box is about being as sustainable as possible. So let’s get in to the details.
The Actual Box:
is made from a minimum of 90% recycled material and is fully recyclable. It is compostable, bio-degradable and plastic free! It is made from certified wood which is sourced responsibly. Plus, it is made at a manufacturers that removes toxins and pollutants from the air during the manufacturing process in line with the EU Clean Air Policy.
The postage sticker:
Made from 100% recycled paper.
The Brown Tape:
is made from renewable kraft paper not from plastic. It is water resistant, solvent resistant and acid free. The tape can be left on the cardboard when it is recycled. Oh not to mention, it is vegan friendly!
The tape used to build your seed box:
is made from a solvent free, acid free material and is non toxic. It is free from gelatine and animal products.
The biodegradable pots, widger and dibber:
The 3” Compostable Bamboo Compostable pots and widger and dibber are made from bamboo fibres and rice starch and are free from petroleum based plastics and BPA. It is durable and can last for 5 years +.
But if you no longer see any use in the pot, then you can compost your pot. Composting takes around 6-12 months. Break up your pot, soak in water for 24-48hrs and then put them in an active compost heap. Similarly, your widger and dibber is made from bamboo and is compostable. Break it down, soak in water for 24-48hrs and then add it to your active compost heap.
The tissue paper:
is made from 100% post consumer waste! It’s is recyclable, bio-degradable and compostable.
The Envelopes:
The brown ones are made from 100% post consumer waste. It is not dyed or bleached and it is recyclable and compostable.
The white ones are manufactured from 100% PEFC Certified Paper. It is biodegradable and 100% recyclable.
The QR Code sticker:
is made from 100% recycled paper.
The Stamps:
Each one has been crafted by a small business based in the UK, and through using that supplier we have planted 4 trees.
The Stickers we use:
are all printed using vegan and certified for compostability inks. They’re printed on 100% recycled waste paper and can be recycled.
Grow Kits Guide Cards:
100% biodegradable 280gsm cards, made from a recycled pulp and packed with wild flower seeds. Plant it, and watch all sorts of meadow flowers grow!
Seeded paper includes: Birdsfoot Trefoil, Black Knapweed, Black Medick, Meadow Buttercup, Musk Mallow, Ox-Eye-Daisy, Ribworth Plantain, Red Campion, Slad Burnet, Self Heal, White Campion, Yarrow seeds.
Monthly Subscription Box.
We’ve created a monthly subscription box that is eco-friendly, curated, seasonal and from local suppliers. The box fits through standard UK letterboxes too!

4 sustainable bamboo pots made from bamboo fibre and rice starch, free from petroleum based plastics and BPA free. These pots can last 5 years or more, and when you no longer want it, you can compost it.
1 Widger and 1 Dibber made from bamboo fibre. This too is compostable.
