What to do in the Garden in June
Ooo it’s heating up! This is a great month to get outdoors and to garden.
Vegetable Garden
Get some of your seedlings started. In our June box you can find Mangetout Peas, Dwarf French Beans Tendergreen, Spring Onions and Beetroot.
Other Jobs
Now is the time to start watering either in the early morning or in the evening. If there is loads of sun this month, you don’t want to risk scorching your plants. Check our our article all about rainwater.
You may be able to harvest some of the veggies you’ve grown.
Keep pinching the side shoots of your tomatoes, this is the time to do it, as you want the plant to focus it’s energy into creating sweet fruit.
